AWARDS NIGHT

Here is Ken's daughter, Lisa with her husband Jim and daughter, Jocelyn. They are coming up for Christmas and should be a really good time. Jodi and family will be here. It's a gathereing of the clans for ther first time. Here is Ken receiving his award from the Pistol club. He came first in the Veteran events. He'd come home each Sunday and tell me he never do so good, the fibber. I'm going to have a go at it next year but will go with Ken tomorrow to have a look.

This little loke was curled up with his Mummy at the Wildlife Park.We could actually pat them! The park is really a great to visit for a day and have a nice BBQ as all facilities are there.

THANK YOU MR RUDD

i too would like to thank Mr Rudd for his generous "christmas" gift. It is a big help to all I'm sure. Ken and I have wanted a cuppacino machine so, we bought one. On the gift card we have written, 'to Margaret and Ken from Mr Rudd.' I can't take a photo of it as yet as the lady at Beta Electrical gift wrapped it for us so it is under the christmas tree.
I hope everyone enjoys the gift they received from the Government.

XBOX FANATIC

Stu, my SIL, sent me an email, asking if I could make this for Josh's eighteeth. The email consisted of what looked like, a drawing in black and white.
So off to the newsagency I went to get graph paper to work it out. I had no idea the amount of crosses involved or the size of material. i said to Stu, I may not be very good with computers but I can sew. I can't find the photo he sent me, at present but I'm thrilled at the way it turned out. Anyone who has done cross stitching realises you start at the centre of the picture, not top to bottom. I have graph paper all over the place with crosses spelling words and a control box. I hope Josh likes it. It is stitched with a lot of love.

HANDYBAGS

I wanted to do some more of these lovely little bags, so Ken bought the material, cut them out for me and i did the finer work on them. We definitely make a great team. They look so pretty in 'real' life. Jodi likes the stripe one best. I think Santy might deliver it to her but don't tell her, it's a secret.

KING PARROT

Good morning all, Well, we finally had a visitor today. Ken built a bird feeder a while back now and also a birdbath to try to encourage the more exotic birds to our yard. We get plenty of sparrows and stalins but not this these ones. So, here is our first king parrot visiting. Isn't it beautiful! I'll have to do a LO.
